The company Adamo Robot SL was born in 2021 as a spin-off from Future Sense SL, a company created with the aim of developing innovative solutions using robotic technology in the field of physiotherapy. After more than 5 years of research and with the support and validation of the University of Oviedo and the University of Alcalá, the first Adamo Robot robotic system was born, a device that integrates state-of-the-art components, such as the UR robotic arm and the FLIR thermal camera, and which uses a jet of pressurized air for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

In 2020, Adamo Robot began researching together with La Rioja Biomedical Research Center (CIBIR), which has since become our main research partner. In 2021, and despite the break caused by the COVID pandemic, the Adamo Robot device met an important milestone in its development: it completed the clinical trials carried out by CIBIR, which demonstrate the efficacy of its treatments.

FEN Technology LLC is a US firm that offers its clients the best technical solutions in the filed of Data Science, Engineering Design, Simulation, HW/SW development. FEN has partnered with Adamo Robot to develop new functionalities of the machine which include advance data analysis and algorithm development.

Florida International University is Miami’s public research university and offers more than 190-degree options, in-person and online, including schools of law and medicine. Adamo Robot is collaborating with Bioengineering Department and the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department with the aim of expanding its physiotherapeutic treatment possibilities. Our contact point in the university is Dr. Vieira, a tenured associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and an investigator at the Baptist Hospital of Miami, and at the Miami Veteran Affairs Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center.
